Atta girl!

I want to look like I did in that picture. That was me at my lowest weight after having gastric sleeve surgery. The day of my surgery I was at 243. It took me 10 month to lose 44 lbs, without really trying. My lowest weight was 199. That lasted only a few weeks. Today, 11/23/14, I am at 230 :(. Feeling like such a failure. I did not follow the rules. It is time for me to focus on myself. I will stop making excuses and get my mind in the right place and do this.

Congrat on wanting to try running. I'm currently weighing in at 268lbs so you shouldn't feel so bad about it, as long as your trying. Let me know how it goes.

Signing up for the walk was a GREAT thing to do!! I can't make it down there to join you that day, but know that as you walk along for the benefit of the March of Dimes, I'm behind you in spirit!

Maybe this will be the beginning of a new habit of taking long walks and hikes for you!!
