DVM in Progress

Here I go again, after being unfocused and not utilizing Spark for a couple of years.

I just started vet school at LSU in the past month and the structure compared to my job is making it much easier to eat appropriately! So I'm finally able to focus and I'm hoping to keep it that way. I need to take off 30 pounds to feel truly healthy.

I'm obsessed with my pets and, though I don't have pocket pets anymore I'm hoping to work closely with them in practice one day. I ...

Wow it sure does. Your hair is so much lighter than mine! Let me know how the Special K Challenge goes. What do you have to do for it? Good luck to you too my dear. Michael and I are having a fun weekend of hiking and staying at a cabin, can't wait. All that walking is bound to shed a few pounds right?!

Yes it totally kicks your butt!! I am SOOOOOO sore! It's ridiculous! I have to keep stopping the DVD like a 1,000 times because I'm so outta shape. But i'll get there! My fridge is so full of healthy stuff it is almost disgusting! But i feel better! I'm also working on having a high calcium diet. Women that eat yogurt 3 times a day with a low calorie diet are more likely to lose not only 22% more weight, but 61% more body fat (especially belly fat). So far I feel great, we we'll see how it goes! Motivation will be much appreciated :) Glad you got your scale and hope everything else is going okay!

You know, I'm dying to move south!!! ;-) I would love to have a workout buddy & you would be the perfect inspiration to get moving! How's school/work going? Keeping you busy, I'm sure! I hope you're enjoying LA. It's getting cold here in Vermont (already), which means my outdoor workouts are going to come to an end in a few months, I'm afraid. :-( And the worst part is, I sold my elliptical... What was I thinking?!?

Ok, seriously, I need you back on Monthly Markdown Challenge... you were always so good at pushing me to meet my goals! I miss you. :-( And trust me, I have some goals to meet!!! haha...

Welcome to the Couch to 5k running group!!!! Stop by the message board and introduce yourself to the team. On the team page you will find a thread for each training week. Click on week one and post were you are at in your training. This is a great way to meet others who are in the same phase of training as you. Some of my best friends were in my training week one and we worked through the program together sharing victories, questions, comments, and ideas. I look forward to learning more about you. Big Sis-
I love you so much. You've motivated me to try to lose some weight. I wanna look FANTASTIC in that dress for my Senior Recital! I wanna stand on that stage with a smaller belly, toned arms and just feel super confident. I'm doing the EA sports active for WII 30 Day Challenge. I started today. It killed me. They made my hold a squat for a WHOLE minute! Killer on my legs after already doing squats for about 10 minutes! I did boxing too. Anyway, I hope you can help me out with this a little bit. I have to get my stress under control because of my jaw problems and I think this is a good way to do it. I need support and who better to get it from than someone who has been where I am right now, lost the weight, and looks AMAZING right now!
