Becoming the "New Me"
I am a 41 year old wife and mother of 3 daughters. I have struggled with weight my entire life. I never pictured myself as big as I really am. I am a 41 year old wife and mother of 3 daughters. I have struggled with weight my entire life. I never pictured myself as big as I really am. I have recently realized that I am sometimes unrealistic about my size and my nutrition. I used to be able to keep my weight steady with exercise but I have noticed in the last few years it has been more difficult for me and I have gradually gained around 40 lbs over the last 6 or 7 years. I think about my weight on a daily basis, several times a day. I joined Sparkpeople in July 2011 but have not faithfully committed long term. My goal is to commit to tracking my nutrition and fitness on a daily basis and in the short term I would like to lose 20lbs. Once I reach that goal I will set myself a new goal and continue to set new goals until I am satisfied with where I am at. I am hoping for success and to be an inspiration to someone else who needs motivation!

My Program:
I will definitely be tracking my daily intake and fitness. I have found that these have been keys to success for me in the past. Staying within a certain calorie range will be a real eye opener for me, but here goes nothin'!
