My name is Misty and I have been a member of SP since 2005. After my middle daughter was born I was looking for a way to lose weight sensibly and came across this website! It was the best thing I have ever done! During that inital time of being here I lost 40 pounds and felt great! Then I had another baby girl in 2008 and gained it all back!

My name is Misty and I have been a member of SP since 2005. After my middle daughter was born I was looking for a way to lose weight sensibly and came across this website! It was the best thing I have ever done! During that inital time of being here I lost 40 pounds and felt great! Then I had another baby girl in 2008 and gained it all back!

I have 1 wonderful husband, 2 jobs, and 3 daughters. This is very time consuming and I found it difficult to get motivated and stay focused on weight loss. I tried a few different "fad diets" and would lose 10-15 pounds before giving up on them. I then decided I know how to do this and be healthy about it, so I came back to SP in the fall of 2011.

My weight was 195 when I made my decision to get healthy the right way! January 24, 2012 I went to the doctor and still weighed 192...he put me on a low fat, low calorie, and high fiber diet and gave me strict rules to follow. By March 16, 2012 I was down 20 pounds! Now as of June 22, 2012 I am down 32 pounds and still dropping! I am aiming for 150 by my 15th anniversary June 28. From there, I will set new goals and re-evaluate my plan!

My Goals:
My overall goal is to be 150 pounds by Spring 2013. I am going to be healthier and feel better about myself as well as lose the weight. My daughters need their mother to be around and able to keep up with them!

My Program:
I am using the nutrition and fitness trackers. They are amazing tools. The fitness tracker truly amazes me, it is a great motivation to see that your efforts are paying off!!

Personal Information:
My name is Misty. I have 3 little girls and a wonderful husband. My daughters are 13, 8, and 4! I am a full-time RN. We live in a small town in Kansas. I have been a member of SP since 9/5/05!

Other Information:
I love to read and watch TV when I can find the time! I love to read anything by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I also enjoy watching Law & Order, CSI, Without a Trace, House, and Cold Case Files.

I saw that you've quit one of your jobs to have more time with family and for yourself. I can't imagine trying to work 2 full time jobs. I'm sure you will have a lot less stress.

Hi Misty,
I know you struggled in the Fall Challenge. Me too. The holidays are always difficult for weight loss and I have not been following any kind of a plan. So my week #1 goals are simply to track my food and do 40 minutes of exercise every day. Keeping it real so that I set myself up for success. My week #1 goals are about getting my head back on straight, so to speak. Let's keep pushing....we have 70 days to stick to our goals and get some great results by spring.
