A New Chapter In My Life...A New Beginning Ahead!

I had joined SparkPeople years ago.

I have moderate spastic diplegia Cerebral Palsy. That's always made exercising and dieting a difficulty for me, because I need to make modifications which means it takes longer. Not a deterrent, though!

I rejoined this site, because many things have changed dramatically in my life: I lost my husband in 2011. I am still (currently) in Arizona, but working on moving back home to New Jersey in the very near future! I have started ...

I rejoined this site, because many things have changed dramatically in my life: I lost my husband in 2011. I am still (currently) in Arizona, but working on moving back home to New Jersey in the very near future! I have started online classes for my Associate's degree in Paralegal studies.

Now, I need to do another thing "for me" and that's to lose weight and get healthy, again!

My Goals:
Weight loss and beyond goals:

To move back home

Get back to "myself" after dealing with my most profound loss.

Get my Associate's degree and then begin working on my Bachelor's degree (both in Paralegal studies)

Become healthier and lose weight for myself. Lose at least the 50 pounds I listed on here when I rejoined.

Rejoined SparkPeople

Have some workout DVD's

May rejoin Curves for Women when I move back to Jersey

Get my minimum 64 oz of water a day

Count my calories

Be mindful of portions

Eat (most) things in moderation

Joined the 28-day Boot camp on SparkPeople!

Always enjoy laughing and making others laugh.

I love reading. I absorb books. Biographies; Autobiographies; Memoirs; Classic Literature; True Crime; Psychology; Philosophy; and Poetry.

Writing

Voiceovers. Especially with character impersonations

Karaoke (Online, primarily)

Baking/Cooking

Learning, educating and motivating others
