I'm a newbie to both online communities and online dieting. I've always had trouble managing my weight, and relied on regular exercise and strict eating to keep it in check. Unfortunately, I lost all that will power during a stressful period 5 years ago, and I haven't been able to get it back. I'm hoping I can find motivational support and tools to help me stick to a healthy diet and weight loss program for the long term.

My Goals:
I missed my first "short term" goal is to lose 15 pounds in my first 50 days on Spark. Now I'm shooting for 15 pounds in my second 50 days. My long term goal is lose 40 pounds and feel better about getting back to the healthier, happier me.

My Program:
Exercising as much as possible-- ideally at least 6 days/week.

Using the Spark nutrition page to track my calories.

Saw your comment about the video being so small on your computer screen. I get it to a full screen by clicking on the video on the Spark page, it then automatically flips to YouTube, where I can select full screen mode with the icon near the bottom of the video. Hope that helps you, because I had the same issue when I did my first Bootcamp. I'd be laying on the floor in my family room, looking up at the computer desk, squinting to see Nicole's body position. I appreciate your positivity that I must have gained muscle. But come on 4 lbs of muscle? Holy cow! No, I really think I let my cardio workouts slide in intensity while I was working on the Bootcamp. Don't get me wrong, the Bootcamp was great because it gave me some great ideas for workouts that I can throw in to my normal routine, but I substituted some of my bike minutes for that strength training so . . . I'm sure it'll come back off. And I'll be more diligent in tracking my food (I know that's a repeat of previous discussions). It's all good!! emoticon

This year I hope to get more outside walking time as I told hubby we ARE getting a pass to the Indiana state parks. We have one in the next town over and I LOVE hiking in the woods verse in the road besides I think you get a better workout because of bending and moving to get through some of the more overgrown ares. I hope you enjoy your new Hiking boots! emoticon
