Every Time Before was just practice...

I'm a 26 year old medical student. I've been dieting all my adult life, it seems like. I've been pretty good at losing weight, and excellent at putting it back on. I'm here to learn gradually how to live a healthier, more holistic lifestyle. My new health philosophy is: I'd rather be a tortoise than a hare! :-) So I'm here, making small, sustainable changes, and enjoying the journey.

My Goals:
I want to treat my body and my mind better. I want to reward my successes, love what I'm doing, and love myself even though I'll never be perfect.

My Program:
I'm following the Lean Eating for women program from Precision Nutrition. From January 10th, 2011 to the end of this year, I'll be gradually changing my habits and my health for the better!

Personal Information:
I live in Indianapolis, IN, in a tiny apartment with a tiny cat.

Most of my time is spent at school, working out, reading, or with friends. :-D

Thanks for your words of wisdom re my differential. I understand the body likes to lose no more than 2# /weekly and what happens when the body believes it is encountering a famine. It's just that I put my cardio, food, and wt into SP and eat within the calorie range given by SP. So why the huge defiict? It doesn't make sense to me. I wonder if I need to update something?

Thanks! And not to worry we're looking after ourselves, just keeping home and keeping out of trouble, well I did go to work today but I don't work anywhere were people are fighting over things so it's just the drive in and out that gets interesting...

How is your clean living coming?
