When I reached my original final goal of 135 in October of 2011, I decided to go for 129 for one reason only: I wanted to be able to claim a weight that was in the 120 something range.

Well, I reached 129 at the beginning of February. Knock on wood, it has been easy to maintain my new weight since then. It hasn't been precarious. It hasn't been hard. It hasn't been iffy. It has been downright easy!

Well, I reached 129 at the beginning of February. Knock on wood, it has been easy to maintain my new weight since then. It hasn't been precarious. It hasn't been hard. It hasn't been iffy. It has been downright easy!

The art of eating has evolved into a beautiful thing with Sparkpeople's Nutrition Tracker. I implore ANY person who is not using it, to PLEASE make it the most important part of your quest. The tracker will make ALL the difference in the world. You do not need to follow Sparkpeople's eating plan (I never used it.)

Everyday this was my motto: DO NOT EXCEED the bottom line Nutrition Tracker numbers for calories, carbs, fats, and protein.

If you do that ALONE, you will succeed beyond your wildest dreams.

Spark On!

Thanks for the kind comments on my "prize-winning" photo! What a great (and unexpected) thrill to win something like that!

First, you're beautiful on the outside and your photos express you are on the inside as well. Two, I appreciate your words of wisdom and am looking forward to saying those exact words one day not to far away, 'it's not hard it's a lifestyle' (in so many words).

Congrats! emoticon

Yes, the Cross and the Flag mean so much to me and my family. On that day it was where my son was commissioned to 2nd Lt. in the Army with his graduating class. He is now in El Paso and sounds like they will be deploying to Afghanistan in Dec.
