I love ground turkey!! It's now the only burger I use in anything. I find it's less greasy and I can't tell the difference when I season it. I use it for taco meat (just cook according to the seasoning directions.) I use tureky burger for spaghetti and chili. I love, love, LOVE my turkey burgers!! It doesn't taste at all like a turkey sandwich; I think it tastes like a burger because it's hot and because of the way it's cooked. I mix in about 2 tsp. of my favorite steak marinade (Andria's Steakhouse marinade... I think it's local) to each 1/4 lb. of raw turkey burger. I sure you could mix in A1 or something like that... try whatever you like! It adds a few calories and some sodium, but it tastes SO awesome and it's a guilt free treat! You can cook it on the grill or on your stove. I have tried to make burgers on my george foreman, but I think it dries them out too much.

I've never been a hug fan of beef, so this change was easy for me. If you really like your hamburger, get the 93/7 or even the 96/4 blend (very lean) ground beef. It's more expensive than the 80/20 or even 73/28 blends, but SO much better for you because you're getting more of the protein and less of the saturated fat from the meat.
