Fitness Minutes: 375

My Goals:
At this point, my goals are a little up in the air. I would like to establish a firm excersise program and eating plan. I ultimatly would like to lose 100 pounds but need to get organized and motivated first.


My Program:
I already take weekly dance and yoga class. I recently began kick boxing at a local gym and am adding that to my routine at least once a week for now. I want to add strength training at home on my off days.



Personal Information:
Growing up I never really thought about my weight. I was a dancer so my body was constantly used and abused. Food was the fuel that kept me moving and not much else. When I was 19, a combination of things happened. The first was that I got depressed. I left college and moved to Florida with my aunt. She has SAD and my family thought that I might have it too so they sent me to sit in the sun for a few months. I only got worse and was finally put on some medication, I donít even remember what it was now, and I blew up like a balloon. I gained 60 pounds in 2 months. I was constantly starving, and ate everything in sight. I had stopped dancing. I had pretty much stopped moving altogether. That was the beginning of a constant struggle to get my weight under control.
Twelve years have passed since then. My depression is under control but I have been unable to conquer my weight. I join a gym, do really well for about six months, fall off the wagon, quit and gain all of the we
