I aim to tie healthy living and strength building in with my martial arts. I think this will be a good way to stay on track...

That's a quote I just read from one of the blogs on this site. I love it - such a great thing to keep in mind.

My name is Mazz and I am a violinist, singer, composer and martial arts enthusiast. I am here today because SparkPeople really seems to have the whole package - the plan, the community, the nutrition and fitness trackers and the points are fun/addictive! I feel I've learned so much since I joined last fall (9/9/09!!).

Lately I have been drawing correlations between how I think (what my life philosophy is), how I interact with people, how I perform, how I exercise and how I eat. Learning and growing is a favorite hobby of mine. I'm enjoying a growth spurt full of positivity right now - having just come out of a period of apathy and even depression at times.

I am one of those "creative types", haha, so I'm a generally emotional person. I like to feel. I like to think. And recently, I like to blog! Please stop by often and read my musings. And feel free to leave comments!

    Muahhhhh! Thanks for the comment. Hope you're doing well and will have a good night. I'm on day two of a three day fast. Yeahhhhhh....Had to get my self-discipline back in check. Getting rid of all the preservatives and sodium is good for me, too. I really feel great actually. We'll see tomorrow.
