About Me

My name is Gema. I gave birth to our first baby September 1st, 2006. It's been a year and I still have some baby fat. I really need motivation. I tried a diet and lost 10 pounds in 2-3 weeks. But fell off the wagon after a while. I have always liked to eat. I used to eat whatever I wanted and didn't gain any weight. HELP! (:o\)
The hardest thing I have encountered is clothes shopping. I feel so limited because I'm looking for something that will not show my fat. It's so frustrating.

My Goals:
I want to lose about 20 pounds. I really want to get back to my pre pregnancy body. I want to be back down before we start trying for baby No.2. Im at 136 lbs. and I'm 5'1 1/2"

My Program:
I do Tae Bo and 20 min Pilates work out.

Looks like you are having great progress! Catching up to me! I've been stuck at 128 for a couple of weeks, but part of that is my fault, I've been eating too much and exercising too little! Good Job!!

Congrats on your job! Hmmm, from my experience working at restaurants, I either did really well on my diet or blow it by eating a lot of food while I worked.
I'm not the one actually doing the marathon, my friend is. But I am helping her train for it. Ya, we're supposed to walk nine miles tomorrow!
I see your down some more weight! Good job! Keep up the great work!

Good to hear from you. What type of job are you applying for? I'm excited because a friend of mine is training for a marathon but is walking it. So Saturday I'm going to attempt to walk nine miles with her! I've been able to walk about two miles every other day. It's really helping me get on board. But I'm not doing so good on the strength excersizes. How did you do this weekend on your eating?

Thanks for the encouragement and for the offer to send me meal plans. I think I might just try the one that spark uses though and then modify it. I'm a pretty picky eater! I met a new mother though and we decided to start walking a few times a week together. That'll help out a lot! Are you currently working or staying at home with your son? I have to go back to work Dec. 3rd.

Well, I totally blew it today. I mean, I ate everything in sight. I don't even want to record it on spark because it'll just depress me! I'll try again tomorrow. I always eat to relax and I've been so stressed out. I try to walk with her for a long time in the stroller..either at the mall or around the neighborhood. I garden just a little, try to do heavy cleaning til I work up a slight sweat, and do sit ups to tighten the flabby tummy. It's so hard to be patient though because I want the baby fat to dissappear instantly! What kind of excersizes do you do? Or diets? As far as diet, I know this is really bad, but I just try to eat smaller portions of the crap I normally eat. I'm trying to focus more on excersizing and drinking lots of water to fill me up.
