Shared Fitness Tracker
Hi. Im from the central CT area and I love the outdoors.
Whenever I fall off the wagon or stop really trying to be healthy I change or edit my sparkpage. So this means, it's a new start. Someone told me that every moment is one where you could decide to start the day again.
I want to think of this sparkpage as my journey of wellness. I dont care what my weight is, I just care about feeling strong, healthy, competent, and happy. I want to be able to see amazing sites while hiking and bike my way through trails that I've never seen.
My life goal for this year is to try new things. I'm afraid of change, of trying new things. I'm afraid of taking control of my life--and I'm working on changing this. This is my moment of honesty with you. Whoever you are that is now reading this. I value honesty and I value these moments of honesty.
Here are some goals of mine.
*To get be physically fit and ready to see/hike a national park this summer.
*To be able to do one pullup.
*To be able to do pushups the correct way.
*To try new exercises and hobbies.
*To climb new mountains.
*To meet people that enjoy the same interests as I do: hiking, biking, reading, documentaries, overall being outdoors and knowing what is going on in the world. I also love food and food science.
*To start jogging by the spring outdoors.
*To complete a 5K by the end of this year.
*To meet a CT fitness buddy, Id rather work with someone who is trying to get fit instead of a personal trainer.
*To accept myself, my body, and be happy.
I'm sure I could tell you more but Id rather you message me or read my blogs to learn more about me. Side note: I also love reading peoples blogs and stories, and I find myself just blog hopping and reading random SP blogs.
*Be outdoors more
*Track my calories
*Stay within my calorie range
*Attend one fitness class at the Y each week
*Go to the gym 2 times a week
*Begin jogging in the spring
*Meet some new outdoorsy people
*Go out west and see a national park this summer.
Gym 2x a week for an hour at a time.
Follow a healthy vegetarian diet instead of a junkfoodetarian diet which Ive followed for far too long.
Read blogs/articles for inspiration.
Be outdoors more and find new exercise friendly hobbies.
Central CT area.

Im always looking for good music as well, new bands, awesome songs, please message me if theres a great song that perhaps Id like.
I love to walk, read, eat good food, watch documentaries, and explore new places.

Well, even SUGAR needs to be watched. The last paragraph of this article was a TELLER!!! It still is an EVIL!!!

In response to the "mens floor" of the gym, no I havent mustered up the guts yet, haha, I walk by everyday though, and they still freak me out. :)

Hi and thanks for your comment on my blog. I knew there are many like me with the junk in the house. Since joining sparkp I feel I have more control over my cravings with all this great support around.
I also love the outdoors and cannot wait for winter to end! I can do without any more snow!
