Twenty More Pounds to Goal

Here I am back after being AWOL for too many months. I gained back almost all the weight I lost before! I have not tracked my food or kept up with Spark People. Shame on me! I'm going to TRY to start over and lose that 20 pounds for good! I know I can to it with your help!

My Goals:
To lose 20 pounds.

My Program:
1. Ride the bike at least 10 minutes a day.
2. Work out 3 times a week at the Gym.
3. Drink 8 or more glasses of water a day.
4. Eat more fresh fruits and veggies.
5. get 8 hours of sleep

Personal Information:
I am a Christian lady married to my childhood sweetheart, who is a retired United Methodist Pastor. We are enjoying some of the things we couldn't while we were working. We are still 'newly weds' but before this marriage, we both had long and happy first marriages until we both lost our spouses in 2004. We are thankful to God for bringing us together. We look forward to each day and try to give God praise and thanks for all the many ways He has blessed us.



Other Information:
I worked as a secretary/bookkeeper from the time I was in high school until I retired. Now, I wonder how I managed to work 8 hours a day for all those years and do all the housework at home, too!

I'm back from my small break! I'm here to lose weight and get in shape. My hubby had heart surgery (2 by-passes) and is back home and doing well. Now I will be able to come to this site and hope to find encouragement to stay with it until I reach my goal. Thanks for your notes and support.

Thank you for the note. I think there's a lot of benefit to our indoor equipment in the face of the extraordinary summer heat ... G could choose any of countless retirement gifts and got a treadmill - for me. It was sooo nice of him and nice for me. You and I aren't forced to be out there at the break of day or at twilight to get our workouts in!
