I'm baaaaack!!!

When I first joined this site way back in 2008 I weighed 76kg and was desperate to lose weight. I managed to loose 10 kilos to be 66kg by August 2010. And although I put back 2 kilos to be 68kg I managed to keep it off for two years.

Jump forward to May 2014 and I'm back up to 74kg! Geez what happened!! This year I hit 50 and the hormones are doing their thing and it seems very difficult to lose any weight at all. But I am determined - even if the weight doesn't come off I can be ...

I am on day 4 of watching every morsel that enters my mouth. Weighing and measuring and tracking and counting. Needed to tighten the reins as my pants were getting to tight. I have a closet full of clothes and only a few actually fit (tightly) and I refuse to buy bigger ones. I have nobody to blame but me. I walked Monday and Wednesday and will walk tonight. Have school Tuesday so no time on that day. I am averaging 3.5-4 miles and my hips are not happy with me. So out of shape. But I am on my way back to being slim, active and healthy! I will check back with you next Monday after the weigh in and I will have good news. Even if it is not what I want or expect, not giving up!

I am still here and haven't given up. I am going back to basic basics. Tracking and really paying attention to what I put in my mouth. I seem to be able to lose only when I keep the calorie count on the low end and exercise. I hurt my right arm, tennis elbow not from tennis and it is very painful. It hurts to use it for anything so I guess walking and hiking will have to be my exercise of choice until I can heal this arm. But I love to walk and exercise and the weather is beautiful so I have no excuse to not get out there. Hope all those magazines and articles helped motivate you and that you are doing well. Let me know!

MIA just about sums it up. I have flip flopped so many times lately between being on track then off the grid that I am disgusted with myself. I am back on track and trying to keep my focus on just making good choices and being healthy. I want this weight off but obviously not bad enough as I haven't stuck to it thus far. I am hoping with the holidays being over and everyone making New Years resolutions I can stick to it long enough and then keep it going. Glad to hear you are doing so well. Send some of that get up and go this way please! Take care and let me know you are doing it.

I am hanging in there. I worked all weekend, inventory which is awful to work. I think I walked 20 miles over the weekend, which is good but didn't eat a single fruit or vegetable, which is not so good. I didn't get out of bed this morning to workout so I just finished letting Jillian shred me and I am sweating like crazy right now. It is dripping off of me. I am not giving up, not giving in, not quitting. But like you I need to buckle down and get the eating under control. So the plan is the usual one and the only one that works. Eating right and exercising. Take care and I hope you aren't to sore tomorrow, but if you Re it is a good sore!

I took the weekend off from working out as I was out of town at a wedding. Had a blast but time to get back at it. So I have done Jillian 4 days this week and walked 4.5 miles yesterday. Need to keep up the streak. I feel larger then ever, but know that I am doing my body good so not giving up. How are you doing? Hope you are healthy and doing well!
