I'm baaaaack!!!

When I first joined this site way back in 2008 I weighed 76kg and was desperate to lose weight. I managed to loose 10 kilos to be 66kg by August 2010. And although I put back 2 kilos to be 68kg I managed to keep it off for two years.

Jump forward to May 2014 and I'm back up to 74kg! Geez what happened!! This year I hit 50 and the hormones are doing their thing and it seems very difficult to lose any weight at all. But I am determined - even if the weight doesn't come off I can be ...

Stay strong through the weekend! Don't undo all your hard work and diligence! I have a tough weekend coming up too. I am doing a cancer fundraising walk. It lasts for 24 hours and it is great that I can walk for as many hours as I want, but all along the track they have snacks, and I'm not talking carrot sticks and apple slices. So I will just have to plan and have what I want and need to eat handy. Tonight we go out to set up our site so I got up and did Jillian again. My knees are still protesting, but not as loudly. Keep taking care of that back all the while still working the other bits! Good Job! I got up and did Jillian this morning as I have so much to do today after work and at my lunchtime that I was afraid I would let myself be put behind everything else, so I made myself first priority this morning. Boy can that girl get me sweating! LOL Have an awesome day and keep up the good work!

Day three almost done and did really good although I did get hungry for the first time this afternoon. Was so busy at work I forgot to eat my afternoon snack. But thankfully I had no quick bad snacks handy to shove in my mouth so popped in a piece of gum and drank a glass of water. But I am ready for dinner for sure. Did another LS walk video today as I have a lot to do tonight (sewing project) but was faithful to myself and my 30 minutes. So that is the news from this end of the world. How did you do today? emoticon walk walk walk walk!

Day two has gone really well so far. Not feeling hungry or deprived at all, which is a good thing. Going to go home after work and do a Leslie Sansone workout. Give the knees a break from jumping, they really protested loudly yesterday and all I could think was it is because of all the fat I have hanging on me. What a yucky but motivating thought.

Yay!!! I have a buddy to help motivate me through this! So I walked for 15 minutes of my lunch hour and then let Jillian torture me with level 1. So day one is a success! Glad you liked the Leslie Sansone dvd. I had a friend on here that used to do them all the time and I thought how in the world could you get a good workout from walking in place. Well like you I found out that yes you do work up a sweat and feel like you worked out when you are done. I have done about 4 different ones and have liked all of them. Plus they are kinder and gentler to my body. So keep up the good work my friend and I hope that we are both winners at the end of the 30 days! I will probably be checking in with you daily as it will help keep me accountable. emoticon emoticon emoticon
