Oh dear! This is how I feel at the moment! The weight is back :(

I'm baaaaack!!!

When I first joined this site way back in 2008 I weighed 76kg and was desperate to lose weight. I managed to loose 10 kilos to be 66kg by August 2010. And although I put back 2 kilos to be 68kg I managed to keep it off for two years.

Jump forward to May 2014 and I'm back up to 74kg! Geez what happened!! This year I hit 50 and the hormones are doing their thing and it seems very difficult to lose any weight at all. But I am determined - even if the weight doesn't come off I can be ...

Eat healthy food.

How is the yoga/Jillian/walking regimine going? Haven't been on in a while, very bad, very very bad. I need to just knuckle down and do this. I am working on a plan and this is what I have so far. Portion control and counting calories, in other words tracking tracking tracking! Step on the scale once initially and then not for 1 whole month and then give it one full complete month of being good to see what happens. Also to do at least 30 minutes a day of some kind of activity, walking, a Jillian DVD, bike riding, something. Time to stop using excuses and just do it! So what do you think of this plan? Hope you are still seeing the scale go down.

I am still alive. Went on vacation and gained my 2 back plus 2 more. Uggghhh. I have been doing Jillian, finished level 3 and now mixing those in with Leslie Sansone walking videos. I am trying to be kinder to my body to try and stay active. I push hard and just can't seem to push through the way I used to. So I am re-assessing my program. I also realized something today. I eat pretty much the same for breakfast and lunch as I always have, but dinners have gotten out of control. Need to get back to eating more salads for dinner. So that is what is up with me. I am on vacation again next week. Going to the mountains and don't think I will have internet access so might be a bit quiet again. I will hopefully get some hiking and biking and swimming in. Take care and let me know how that yoga torture is going for you. You mentioned hip flexors and I immediately felt pain.

So I lost two pounds last week. Amazing, I cannot believe it but am very glad and hope it continues. I am doing level 3 of 30 day shred and completed day 3 today. This level makes me sweat like none other. It is disgusting. I can do the level but don't feel that I have quite the endurance and strength I used to have. I am going to finish the 10 days and see if that goes up at all as it always amazes me when I start at level 1 from ground zero and by day 5 I am doing so much better. So how are things with you going. Have you lost any weight or started the 30 day shred? If not what are you doing for cardio and strength?
