Today I reverse the trend of '1 step forward, 2 steps back'. I know how to yo-yo; gaining, losing and gaining again. Now I want to make a meaningful change to my mind, my body and my long term health.
I can do this.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read and comment on my latest blog. I'm really encouraged to see how many people have found they don't fall solidly into one camp or the other. I think it's part of what makes this journey tough--trying to figure out which things we're better off abstaining from and which we can safely (or reasonably safely, anyway!) enjoy moderately.

Thanks for your comments on my twisty back blog--gentle stretching will be the order of the day for tomorrow. I was able to walk a bit today and it felt really good ;-). Thanks again--hope your weekend is going well!

"You are capable and worthy of being and doing anything.
You just need the discipline and determination to see it through.
It won't come instantly, and you may backslide from time to time, but don't let that deter you.
Never give up. Life is an ever-changing process, and nothing is final.
Therefore, each moment and every new day is a chance to begin anew."

For every obstacle there is a solution. Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
The greatest mistake is giving up."
