Choosing to Do the Hard Work

I know I can do this...I can feel it inside. In the past I have had to change how I go about this getting more fit and healthy. As I age, apparently there in a process of reinventing how to accomplish my goals. Because, what I did before don't work now...OK...

Its Aug 2009 and I choose to do the hard work and accept me.

Its Aug 2009 and I choose to do the hard work and accept me.
I choose to begin today again, and do the things I can do (duh, I know), and explore ways to accomplish steps toward where I want to be, and feel the way I want to feel, in spite of realities.
On my spark people team, I have come to embrace this notion of remembering every moment, Life is Good. A friend here on SP reminds me every day...how good life is. Last year was tough, and there has not been enough time for me. Time to refocus and Choose Me!
But how do I choose me? Good question. I have to take a good look at what should be at the top most on my priority list. Today I start doing what I need to do...I know what that is. Just gotta do it. And that means doing the things I need to do, not doing the things I shouldn't and having a good attitude about it. And when I make a mistake, not getting negative but regroup and re-focus and go forward.
I sense a settling and a chance to refocus. I am grateful.
So today I begin anew...I have challenged my team and this amazing group of people have joined me. They truly inspire and support me. How lucky could be?

My goal is to become me. A reasonable me...not what society says I should be. My goal is to be healthy, strong, and balanced both physically and spiritually. My goal is to pursue this in methodical pathway without a bunch of guilt.

My Program:
Stay positive!

Exercise 7 days per week.

Eat more fruits and veggies.

You know...all the right stuff.

Personal Information:
I have Hashimoto's Thyoid Disease, Sjogren's, Lupus, and osteoarthritis as a result, but want to live a healthy life with 'in spite of' these conditions. I have family and friends who encourage and support me for which I am grateful.

Thanks for the blog feedback, I always value your thoughts! I think you're right about the rear lunging position, and the reason that might be the culprit...I don't often have the problem in my yoga, but the foot is typically flatter, and the pressure in yoga is not as much (and no added weight!). I'm just going to keep on blogging and see if something else comes to light!

Thanks for the Sunshine Goodie. It has rained the past 2 days here and haven't seen the sun in as many. I think I'll go enjoy a sun shower now :)
