Cautiously optimistic

I have struggled with my weight for most of my life. Sometimes I am amazed that I keep trying and trying and I don't give up. In the past I have always tried to go at it by myself. Now I have already seen how helpful the SP community is. I have a teenage daughter and I want to be a role model for her by taking care of myself.

emoticon and you are welcome, glad to help anytime!! It is in my blood now to keep moving no matter what. If I don't I get depressed! It is such a huge stress reliever to do those walks or any type of exercise after even 10 min. I hope you do get the Wii out...you will be glad you did! Have a good day! I am ready for April too!! My steps have suffered this month too. My leg (IT Band) started bothering me again...now doing laser therapy through 4/8. Have to cut back a bit. So don't feel bad, if you don't make it to 100 miles! Doing 2.5 a day is great!!! Just take it a day at a time! I never in a million years would have thought I would say I am missing my exercise or that I love exercise, but I do!!! So keep at it..you will get there too! I just did some Wii Bowling tonight. I really enjoy trying to beat my own game! Good for the arms!!
I got in 17.07 miles this past week-grand total to date=72.41 miles. Not bad with a bum leg! I do chair exercise/marching/dancing and the fitbit flex bracelet picks up my steps on that too. So that helps! The therapy is helping...I think the knee was becoming slightly frozen and couldn't straighten it out fully, so now I can! emoticon
