Hello. In 2006 I started sparks and managed to go from 156 to 135 pounds. I did this to get ready for my body to have a baby. I looked great and felt great. I was the first time I was happy with my body! I had a baby in September 2008 and had a top weight of 190 pounds! Within 9 months i was down to 140. It is now Jan 2010, I am still at 140! I am a leaner 140, but still 140. My goal for the next while is to run a half marathon (End of April) and prepare for a full marathon in september. ...
Hello. In 2006 I started sparks and managed to go from 156 to 135 pounds. I did this to get ready for my body to have a baby. I looked great and felt great. I was the first time I was happy with my body! I had a baby in September 2008 and had a top weight of 190 pounds! Within 9 months i was down to 140. It is now Jan 2010, I am still at 140! I am a leaner 140, but still 140. My goal for the next while is to run a half marathon (End of April) and prepare for a full marathon in september. My goal weight is 130 which i hope to achieve by the End of May.
Trophies Weight loss round 1:
01/10/2006-Pants a pair of jeans I bought in January are too big to wear anywhere nice. Pants I bought a year ago are loose!
30/10/2006- Met my calorie goal this week for the first time. I ate within my calorie range 6 out of the 7 days and on my off day managed to keep the calories down to about 350 cals over! I feel good about it. Only 1.2 pounds to go to my Goal.
31/10/2006- Weight 145.8! I am almost at my goal of 145 flat!
31/10/2006- Hubby commented on how thin I was looking. He said I was looking really good. :-)
3/11/2006- Got up at 6:10 for the second time in a row and did 30 mins of exercise on the bike. It's a trophy because I really really wanted to stay in bed!
11/11/2006 - I went shopping today and bought a size 8 skirt (and all the pants I tried on were size 8, this is down from everything being a 10 for the last two years. I even had on some skirts in a size 6!) and I bought a pair of tight size 29 parisuco jeans! Beautiful!
11/20/2006 - I have decided it would be good to go for an extra 5 pounds. So my goal is 140 by Feb 1. I want to have an extra buffer before I go to NZ in February.
11/25/2006 - I met my first goal weight of 145 today! I went to starbucks and bought a very nice traveling tea/coffee mug. This one however will be for tea only!!
12/02/2006- My friend noticed that in the last three weeks I really look like I have lost weight. I also noticed this week that my stomach has really flattened out!
12/02/2006 - I have decided to strive for 135. However my first goal is still 140.
12/27/2006- I have dropped a body fat percentage this month! Not much weight loss, but a weight loss percentage.
12/27/2006- I bought a size 6 pair of pants today! When I started sparks i was a size 10!
12/31/2006 - I lost 15 pounds this year! Yay me! I never thought this could happen. I am very proud of myself. Can you believe I reached one of my goals!
04/11/2007 - I have burned over 2000 calories for 4 weeks in a row!
04/16/2007 - I have made it under 140 pounds. I was only briefly under 140 for a week before my vacation in Feb. It feels good to have gotten here. 2 more pounds to my mini goal weight of 138. Then I get to buy a new gym bag.
04/25/2007 - I am back to pre NZ trip weight. In fact I am .2 pounds under it! 138.6. Only .6 more pounds until i get my gym bag! Hopefully that will be next week.
05/09/2007 - I am now under 138 which means I get to buy a new Gym bag!! Not sure what I want yet. Well I would really like a lululemon bag, but that might be too expensive.

05/31/07 - I hit my goal today!!! I am 135.2. My Goal for reaching 135.x was a new dress. I am very excited about getting it.
06/01/07-I bought my new dress today. It is lovely!
06/06/07 - I hit my final goal of 135.0 today!!!
07/04/07 - I am 135.4 today. That is one month of maintaining my weight! Yay for me.
08/20/07- I have maintained for 2.5 months! Very exciting. I made a big step today and changed my range from my weight loss range to maintenance range. I gave myself 2 pounds on each side.
08/25/07 - Got a wall post on facebook from a friend that hadn't seen me in awhile and she commented on how great I looked in some pics posted on facebook. It felt great.
09/27/07 - I ran for 50 minutes continuously today. This is the longest I have run in 6 years! I ran 8.5km in this time. I am very proud that I am now fit enough to do this.
10/15/07 - Ran my first 10km race. I ran it in 55 mins! I was very happy about it.
10/27/07- Bought a pair of size 26 jeans! Last year I bought size 29 and they were tight!
Trophies Weight Loss Round 2 (after baby):
9/o5/09- I ran a half marathon in 2:13! I am very happy with that!

My Fitness Goals are for this round:
1) Run a 5 km race June 21st with my husband and little girl (my husband will push her in the race, but i train by running with her in the stroller)
2) Run a 10km race in August with my Dad!!! He has never done a race and 4 years ago lost about 70pounds. So i never thought i would do that.
3) Run a half marathon before my 31st Birthday (I turn 30 this October.
Weight Goals are:
1) Get to 145 by june 1. Goal met on May 13th! 145.4
2) Get to 140 by September 1 (Reward for this will be a new ipod!!!)
Since I am breast feeding i need to eat between 1800-2000 cals a day.
I will run/play ultimate frisbee 3 times a week.
I live in Canada and am 29 years old.
I have a beautiful daughter born in September of 2008!
