Feeling fabulous and fit in the sixties

Ever since I was a very fat 10-year-old I have been struggling with my weight. When I got into my later teens and early twenties I really went after my weight problem. When I was 17 I got the mumps and couldn't eat anything, and I really looked slim and great. Until I started having kids I was fine. Then the pounds started to mount up as I have gotten older. I really don't have that much weight to lose, but on my short frame, every extra pound shows. This January I decided that I wanted to be all done with the weight struggle forever. I want to be thin and look great for the rest of my life. I know that this means a re-training process and a life-style change forever, but I want this now more than I ever have before. Every pound is an enormous struggle, but I am determined that this time I go for it I will be successful. This time I am going to be victorious!

My Goals:
I want to achieve my target weight of 120 lbs. and stay there for the rest of my life. I am always happier when I am thin, and I want to work out a plan that keeps me thin forever. I'm not sure at this beginning stage how realistic this is, but I am sincerely hoping that The Spark is "The Final Solution."

My Program:
At first I was sticking closely to the calorie allotment laid out for me by SparkPeople and going after my exercise program of choice, CrossFit which is the most awesome workout plan I have ever encountered. That took me down to 127.6 pounds. I was then unable to lose any more weight.

After that, the HCG diet came along. I was ambivalent about trying it, but knew at last that I would never be satisfied until I had.

Now I am 2/3 of the way through the program and have lost another 4 pounds with only 3.4 left to go.

I feel confident that I am on the door sill of a permanently thinner me.
