Hi, Barb! I was impressed with your comment about your 5% Challenge team. This one, to be precise: "We focus on the total 'health' process of achieving our goals. That means while the scale is important we never forget how important it is to find what works for us, individually. We know this is not a one size fits all. There is more to this than the scale." This was meaningful to me because I actually gained 4 pounds during the summer challenge. However, I started and maintained a high-intensity strength training program and I gained muscle weight. If I focused only on the scale (which I tend to do), this summer would have been a failure.
Your statement about your team is an excellent guide to anyone. I'm keeping it for my list of motivational statements.
