A Mom of Four

I am a mom of 4, three boys and my little princess. My two oldest are in in college: USC and Junior college. My 16 year old is in 11th grade & my little one will be starting 3rd grade in September. How time flies!!

In June, I did the Camp Pendleton Mud Run again after saying, Never again. It wasn't as bad as the first time. Looking forward to doing it again next June with my friend and boys (including husband!) My next big thing is training for my first 1/2 marathon. Need to ...

Staying on track w/ my food

My Program:
I do cardio almost every day. I will either spin, run, do the arc trainer or hike. I strength train 2-3 times a week by taking classes and boxing. I need to start tracking my food better. If I could just do that along with m exercising I'd be in great shape.


Personal Information:
I was born in New York, but moved to California when I was 12. I did my major growing up here. I am married with 4 children who mean the world to me. I am a stay at home mom who keeps busy working out, driving carpool and helping out in school.

Other Information:
I love to take a spin class whenever I can. I am a workoutaholic. It's better then some other addictions I could be addicted to. I love to hike with my friends 1 a week. I love to spend as much time with my family as possible. College football (go USC!) is on the top of the list from September to January.

Yep and pretty close to 400 emoticon emoticon Can you do plo's or any other high impact? What I do is go to http://www.totalfitnessdvds.com and watch their awesome video clips and pick and choose..I pick my workouts by the instructors and hte music...tonight I did U-Fit Ultra Burn Calorie Crushing Cardio & Turbo Fire Ab 10 and I loved both workouts!! And Chrsi Whitmarsh the instructor to U-fit is just awesome...who wouldn't love to exercise and laugh at the same time?? She's awesome...I have a bad back but if you know how to modify and make hte workouts work for you...make it your own...you can do almost any wotrkout dvd you want emoticon emoticon

May I ask what is wrong wiht your back and hip..you may have told me before...but i tend to forget these things as my brain is going daft lol...you know old age setting in emoticon

I just love exercise dvds I do a workout like the one I did yesterday and the time just flys on by!! emoticon emoticon And now I want 3 more set...good grief! Paul Katami 4X4 System - 10 DVDs, Stretch Rope & Foam Roller, Chalene's new plyo workout set that is coming out soon on beachbody and 21 day fix...which looks just awesome! lol...thanks for reading my blog Chana.

That sounds just like carb cycling but just a little harder! Thanks for explaining the diet to me emoticon are you going to come post back onthe tem with this plan? You know we should change the title of the team to Chris powells carb cycling and ohters or something like that lol...you have any good ideas for a title? emoticon

Thanks...I'll have to look into that diet why are two days hard? I am thinking about carb cycling but I am a tad worried about low carb for energy with the workouts I want to do...I seem to have no energy on those days and I need energy to kick up my workouts emoticon emoticon
