I love this pic. It's the *best* that I've taken in a long, long time. :-)
My now and my goal
Very often, the eyes really are the windows to the soul.

Ok, so I am starting over. Again. This time, I have new motivation: Me. For the first time, I want to lose weight and get healthy for my own life and satisfaction, not for someone else. It's been a long time coming, but I'm ready to love being me and feel good in my own skin. I'm ready to hold myself accountable for my failures and my successes. I am ready to feel pretty, sexy, and confident without having to look outward for validation. I am ready for my inner woman to come out of hiding and show the world who she REALLY is!
So, for the first time, I am going to set incremental goals for myself with accompanying rewards. This is a big deal to me, because, normally, when I want something, I just go and get it. But now, the things that I want will be contingent on my weight loss. I figured this would be a good idea simply because there are quite a few things that I want, but I want to lose weight more than I want anything else. This way, I can keep motivation up and kill two birds with one stone. Good idea, no? This is going to be an interesting experience!

Old stuff below...
I'm currently working towards becoming a better version of myself.
Since I was a child I've been overweight, to some extent. After I had my 2nd child (2002) I looked AWESOME!!! I weighed less than I did before I got pregnant. But then, birth control hormones started my battle all over again.
I have about 60 lbs to lose to get back to my "post baby" weight. I'm hoping to do it while my husband is on deployment so he can come home to a sexier wife!
Mini Goals to Success!
My plan is to eat smart, and exercise; cardio at least 3x a week and strength training at least 2x a week.
I'm a military wife and I have 2 children. I am also a full time student, working on my Bachelor's in Education- I want to teach mathematics in middle school.
I recently quit smoking, so keeping a handle on what I put in my mouth is even more important now than before. No mindless eating for me; I want to quit AND be fit!
