Hello Friends -

I'm a sweet, honest, hardworking woman who has struggled with her weight since she was 7 years old. I was unhappy with my weight in college, and after being in the "real world" for about 6 years, my weight has slowly crept higher and higher. It probably has something to do with the chair I'm sitting in right now, and sit in every day Monday-Friday, 9-5pm and some weekends.

It probably has something to do with the chair I'm sitting in right now, and sit in every day Monday-Friday, 9-5pm and some weekends.

I know that calories in v. calories out is the only thing that will work for a lifetime and that's why I love Sparkpeople.

I pledge to do the best I can - making small, not drastic changes, that will shape my life and help me lose weight and keep it off once in for all.

I love taking walks with my french bulldog, kickboxing, cooking, NC State football, planning events, doing "activities" and renovating houses.

My Goals:

140 lbs - Louboutin Heels or several new outfits (I want to hit this goal at my birthday)

I am a very lucky and fortunate girl to have a loving and supporting boyfriend. We developed an "incentive" program for me to lose weight through portion control, watching my carb & alcohol intake and mucho exercise.




My Program:
I'm trying what everyone has been telling me for years - to eat small meals throughout the day, while tracking my calories/ protein /fat /carb intake. So far it's worked like a charm. I am not hungry, I don't overeat and I don't feel deprived at all.

Burn 3500 calories/week at the gym or other activities of my choice. I usually take my dog on a 2.6 mile loop around the lake, or take group exercise classes (kickboxing, bodystep, bodypump) or do Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred or Yoga Meltdown.

I track my calorie burn through my Polar Heart Rate Monitor.


Personal Information:
I currently live in Raleigh, NC and enjoy the city and what it has to offer immensely.

I have a 3 year old French Bulldog, who I love to death. He is so smart, funny and loyal.
