Okay... so I finally decided I had to put an end to the defeatist attitude about weight loss! After listening to me, my friends, my sister and my daughter talk about weight issues I snapped… I was not going to let this hold me down any more! I have struggled with weight my whole life: Gaining and loosing and regaining enough weight to make a few good sized versions of myself. It seems to be the one thing that I couldn’t control- but that just cannot be true- not anymore. ...
Okay... so I finally decided I had to put an end to the defeatist attitude about weight loss! It is not my metabolism and it is not my genes: It is in my control. There is nothing and nobody but me keeping me from achieving my goals! My grandma used to tell me ‘If it is going to be, then it is up to me” well grandma was right--- It is up to me! Success is a year-round choice. You must decide what you want, why you want it, and how you plan to achieve it. No one else can, will, or should do that for you. The moral of the story is – Don’t let one night of gluttony, one weekend of debauchery, a vacation of unwholesome habits, consume your thoughts and defeat you. All is not lost, you can only fail if you never try!
