    emoticon Mary. I have added you as a spark friend. I hope you don't mind. I see in your picture you are holding a precious adorable baby. Is that your grandchild? I love babies. My son can't have children. He is my only child so I will never know the joys of being a grandma. I do have a niece and nephew that I adore. They are 17 and 15. She is going to college in NY in September to be a Dr. I am very proud of both of them.

    emoticon Hi, Mary! I started exercising because my knees were so bad that I could hardly walk. I started out with a slow 1/2 hr on the stationary bike at the Y and now work out for 60-90 minutes daily. For a while I was there for 3 hours/day! My knee pain is gone and I have lost 86#. My life has changed and yours can, too!

    Hello Mary, nice to meet you!! It doesn't matter how you move as long as you do. I have knee problems, and when they don't want to work right, I have done the chair workout videos they have on Spark before. One of my favorites that I always recommend to people is the 11 Minute Cardio Chair Workout. That will get your blood pumping without straining your knees. And you can move more or less, according to what you are able to do.
