"Fall seven times, stand up eight" Hi Everyone, My name is Mary and I'm trying to manage my diabetes, live healthy and lose weight. in 2012 I lost 35 lbs and I've put it all back on but I'm ready to get back to that happy, positive, healthy person. I'm on a mission to lose 20 pounds by September 2016 when we are taking our honeymoon. We haven't booked it yet but all we know is that it will be someplace tropical with a beach. The important part is making this a "lifestyle" change. I want to live like a healthy, normal, active person. I am taking it one day at at time and setting small attainable goals. My ultimate goals are be be able to run a 5k to support Heart Disease and to Wear a Wonder Woman Costume and look hot for Halloween! 2016 Goals & Rewards Starting weight in 2016 was 233 -5 lbs (pedicure) -10 lbs (New yoga pants) -15 lbs (new yoga mat) -20 lbs (diamond earrings) -25 lbs (Facial) -30 lbs (Massage) -35lbs (Charm Bracelet) ***WONDERLAND*** -40lbs (Hapkido Class) -45lbs (Tattoo) -50lbs (Full day at Spa)

My Goals:
I'm on a mission to lose 60 lbs.
I want to:
Go to bed by 11:30 pm
Control blood glucose with diet and exercise, not medication.
Be able to do one pull up.
Be able to run a mile nonstop.
Be able to hula hoop.
Be able to do a cartwheel.
Be able to wear a Wonder Woman costume.

My Program:
I am eating more organic and less processed food. I'm brown bagging my lunch for work. I stick to 1600-1800 calories a day. I track all my calories on SP. I also workout 3 x per week.

Personal Information:
My name is Mary. I live in a North West suburb of Chicago. I also have an adorable doggie named Becca Bo Peep Monster or Becca for short.

Other Information:
I would like to talk to anyone trying to lose weight, eat healthier or manage their diabetes.

Thanks for the blog comment Mary! I've been trying to talk myself out of going to the gym all day but going to go darnit. I'm actually starring at my gym bag as I write this haha. I just keep thinking about how good I'm going to feel when I'm done. And yes you have to charge that Fitbit, I swear sometimes it's the only thing that motivates me to move sometimes. Tori has one now too!

Happy Wednesday! I am back for real and ready to focus on me for a change! I've been walking a lot outside and today I will be going to the gym for the first time in months. How are you doing?
