Mother of two beautiful children. I am working on becoming healthy and fit and learning to love myself. Even though the final end result of weight to lose is more than 50 kg +, I am focusing on the now and taking it day by day. Not only am I changing my own lifestyle but also that of my family and slowly introducing better food choices to their meals.

Happy Friday! Control is a tough issue for a lot of us. We can control some of what we do, but we can’t control everything! Keep pushing towards your goals. Even if you do not reach all of them, don’t give up! You can alter your goals or make new ones! Do your best to keep a positive and/or realistic attitude. You are AMAZING and WONDERFUL!

I was interested as you had a DVT - I have just been diagnosed and am currently on treatment - I am itching to get back exercising. Any advice would be great - I find the whole thing confusing and am not too inspired by my doctor's knowledge

Do you suffer any lingering pain/problem from it - other than the risk of another one. Do you wear compression stockings? Do you know what caused yours?

Any knowledge is good.
