I am 65 years old and a breast cancer survivor, Had an illiostomy in 2007 when chemo shredded my colon. I was told it was not reversable but I recently found a surgeon who was able to fashion a small colon out of my small intestine. Its different but working good & I am very happy with the results. I have 3 children, 2 adults and 1 taken from us by a drunken driver when she was 18. My wonderful hubby and I have been married for 45 years. I am looking to improve my health and grow old ...

Our lives are not determined by what happens to us,
but by how we react to what happens,
not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life.
A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts,
events and outcomes.
It is a catalyst, a Spark that creates extraordinary results.

Seek out that particular mental attribute which makes you feel most deeply and vitally alive, along with which comes the inner voice which says, "This is the real me," and when you have found that attitude, follow it.

There's a lesson in everything we do, if we just have eyes to see it. It's not what happens to us that matters as much as how we take the experience and make something of it.
