Wanting to get fit for life!
Married and soon to be 59 year old.. no two legged kids, just our four legged dog, Daisy Mae(hem). I have lost about 10 pounds and looking to lose 5 more by Thanksgiving. I love being out doors and walking but really want to start strength training.

My Goals:
I have lost some weight, but want to be in much better shape! According to my BMI number, I am overweight and it is time for that to end! I have a good friend who transformed herself by lifting weights and she has inspired me to do the same..
My Program:
I have not journaled my food, but I am doing so much better with what I eat. As much as possible, I eat and buy food from local farmers and source, buy organic as much as possible and I love to try new recipes. I am always seeking out ways to "eat clean" and how what we eat impacts our planet, that really matters to me.
Personal Information:
I live in northern KY and work in Cincinnati.
Other Information:
Love to walk, to hike and be outside. Love wine and good food, treasure my friends and since I have a small family, my friends are like my family. My husband and I have been married 26 wonderful years. We both love music and finding new bands to listen to as well as staying at our lake house when we can get there and kayaking! Looking to get a paddle board next year and try that!
