Linda's First weight Goal

Hello,

I'm 51 and working on some major lifestyle changes in all areas of my life. Found the spark pages and thought what a great way to record some of my goals and lifesyle changes.

This is my first weigh goal, I know I have a lot to loose to make my life and health better so I'm breaking it down into smaller amounts with some set time span. Hopeing to loose the first lot by next January.

My Goals:
To take back my life, my health and learn to live it better.

My Program:
I go to thearpy to learn to deal with my depression & anxiety. Have started a fitness program for my level. I am getting used to writing down all that I eat. In march I see the Diabetic nurse for a new workable menue plan for me.

Personal Information:
I'm 51, take care of my father. I love to quilt and read. Have a cute litte dog (Goldie) and a cocatiel (george)

Where have you been? I haven't heard from you lately. how are you doing?

Hi Marylin,
How have you been doing? I have managed to follow my meal plan change which i will not call a diet for four days now. I even managed to do ok when after i planned the whole day by husband decided we should go out to eat for lunch. So i replanned all my food and then we got to the restaurant and it was closed for a broken pipe. So we had to pick another restaurant i ordered a baked chicken breast on a roll. It came undercooked. lol I ate the salad, roll and lettuce and tomato and it was enough what a way to save calories. Write to me and tell me how you are doing.

Marylin,
I know what you mean i have been getting to know how to use the meal planner and once I did I found it quite easy. Yesterday when i wrote what i ate and saw the counts on the bottom I realized how many more calories than i thought i was eating that i was actually taking in. A wake up call.
Thanks for the encouragement. Have you been doing the exercise challenges? They are really working to motivate me to move more.

You can visit my page to see what you think. I gained a good deal of my weight after being put on insulin. I am 53 with 3 grown children. I also quilt and read it seems we have alot in common. Enjoyed your blog and as I entered your page, the picture of that flower (rose?) took my breath away. How beautiful.
Do you garden?
Lots of snow eh? I live in Fl and would do an aray of things for some of that but will send some sunshine your way so you can get to the pool a little easier! :D
