Thank you so much on your comment on my picture of my German Shepherd Rocky. We are both a few years older since that picture was taken, LOL. Rocky is a really good boy and the 4th GSD that my DH and I have owned through our 45 year marriage. I really think he is the smartest and actually is the biggest at 110 pounds of muscle. (And he loves our 4 cats but chases squirrels.) I don't think I could foster a dog because I couldn't give it up at a later time. You are a special person. Hey there, a bod pod is a little pod u get into and they will tell u fairly accurately what percent of your body is fat and what percent is lean mass. I know my numbers won't be pretty now but I look forward to seeing them change over this year. :) I think it also may help me to figure out what goal weight might be right for me.
I tried to answer your email last night, but could not get the reply to send. I'll try here. I started the virtual walk because I found the treadmill really boring, even when I was watching tv. I needed some kind of challenge.
I've visited Britain several times, so thought that would be a good place to start. I knew about the Land's End to John O'Groats, so googled the name and found a blog by Mark Moxom, who walked the whole thing. i'm following his route, and then looking up info about the places I pass through.
There is a team called "where are you walking to?" which has several walks, including a monthly challenge. Hope you decide to try a walk, I really enjoy it and have surprised myself by my determination to stick to it.
