Erm. . That should have read 'Coach Merle came up with. . .'! Pesky predictive text! I narrowly missed huge embarrassment last week when sending a text to an as yet unknown builder, requesting a quotation for some work. In the sentence there was a bit which should have read '. . . .Some section. . . '. Thank goodness I spotted the stupid predictive text, as it actually came up as 'Sumo sex. . '! ! ! ! Waaaaah! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thanks, M - none of what you suggested worked for me, especially the bit about the clock! I'm not bad at navigating the site, but even the Start page has not one clue re language. In the end I referred the query to SP and Coach Merle came Jo with the answer about the weird symbols: seemingly, it happens when a log is imported from a different source, which is right because I wrote it in a document, saved it and then dragged it into my blog box! Merle said that if I edit it and rewrite all the original punctuational which Re affected, the save it, the symbols will disappear! Hah! The old adage certainly holds true about learning something new every day!!!!!

My pending logging-in issue is still unresolved and I am panicking. My iPhone is too old to upgrade the latest version of Spark Mobile and even if I try to log in on the main website inmy phone, it defaults to Mobile and keeps rejecting my log in. I will lose my almost 1000day streak if I can't get it resolved. I will be stuck in a field 100 miles away, no WiFi, dunno what to do! Fed up. Hoping SP will assist, but all Merle's advice so far isn't working.

On the run, dairy drying out, smells awful in there, walls need re-plastering, ceiling needs renewing, snorkel worn out! Xxx emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thanks for the advice re setting language, Hon - I've spent forever on the site and also my start page, preferences, blah blah and, whilst I recall seeing it when I originally signed up with SP, I can't now find it! Clues, Twinnie, please?
