Going All the Way to Goal in 2014!

I have had a some success in my weight loss journey in 2013. Now, I need to keep going and make it to my goal in 2014. I can do this if I continue to choose healthier foods, move more and monitor my food intake. I may stumble but I will not beat myself up and I will not give up. I can do this!

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to get down to 165 lbs. which will put me in the "normal" BMI range. I've already lost 30 pounds and have 45 left to go. My medium range goal is to lose 25 pounds by June 1, 2014. My shorter term goals are to focus on 1 to 1 1/2 pounds per week.

My Program:
I am using the Spark Coach program but have lost motivation a bit because I have not been logging on every day.

My specific actions to work toward my goals are:

--logging into sparkpeople.com and Spark Coach EVERY day
--tracking my food and cardio
--strength training (which I find very challenging but I'm trying hard to be positive and trust that I will get strong and better at it!)
-Journaling and blogging to celebrate successes, to explore my feelings, and to work through obstacles.

Personal Information:
I work from home as a Instructor for an online education provider. I love movies, books and spending time with friends.

Other Information:
I have already learned a great deal about health and nutrition but have problems sticking with things.

Success is a Choice
-Unknown
"Today I will make many choices, and each will have a consequence. Today I can choose to tell myself that I am worth the effort, or I can tell myself doesn't matter, I'll do it tomorrow. Today I can choose to journal, or I can choose not to. Today I can choose to drink my water, or I can choose to be
dehydrated. Today I can choose to stay in my points range, or I can choose to hinder my goals. Today I can choose to be more active, or I can choose to take the easy way. Today I can choose to be motivated, or I can choose to tell myself "I can't." Today I can choose success. IT IS MY CHOICE."

Stopping by to wish you a great week, Sparkfriend! Keep doing your best to reach your goals...its up to you, and you know you're worth the effort, right?
Hugs,
Pixie

"Sometimes victory seems so far away because we measure it only by the goal. And end goals can seem overwhelmingly huge, daunting, and just plain hard to reach. But if we start measuring our victories by the smaller choices we make each day, victory won't seem so impossible.....
It's amazing the chain reaction that can start in your life with just one good choice.
Big things are built one brick at a time.
Victories are achieved one choice at a time.
A life well lived is chosen one day at a time.
Oh sweet friend, you are closer than you think to victory!"

Be your own hero, one choice and one step at a time! You might not see visible signs of progress right away, but as long as you keep doing your best, you will make progress and you will be victorious! I'm rooting for you! Remember, you're worth your best effort!
Hugs,
Pixie

Hi Mary, isn't it funny how our bodies try to tell us when we are headed in the wrong direction? I'm a learning diabetic in training.... LOL .... and my body sure puts up a good fight when I make bad choices!

Thank you sooooo much for the kind words and for adding me as a friend! I added you back. I am glad (and always surprised LOL) by all the support on my blogs recently and that so many people can relate. Spark people is really important to me because people like you remind me that we are all in this together and that we all have the same struggles. Congrats on all your success so far! You are so close to Onederland (being under 200) and I can't wait to celebrate with you when you get there! emoticon emoticon
