I have been yo-yo dieting most of my adult life, and I know the older I get the more damage it's doing. Two years ago I joined Weight Watchers and lost close to 40 lbs. This past year I have gained most of that back. I'm looking for support to break this habit and get my eating habits under control.

My Program:
I bought a treadmill and have started using it daily. I am also getting outside for a walk with my dog more often. And I'm eating healthier.

Personal Information:
I am originally from Indianapolis, IN but have lived in FL for 30 years. I love to read and love animals of all types. Right now I have two rescue dogs.

Other Information:
JUST FOR TODAY: I will live through this day only. I will not brood about yesterday or obsess about tomorrow. I will not set far-reaching goals or try to overcome all my problems at once. I know that I can do something for 24 hours that would overwhelm me if I had to keep it up for a lifetime.

I must say I don't feel real stable for the challenge. I'm already out. But I did manage to lose 1.6 lbs, -- just a date late!!!! Hope to continue with the downward movement - I ordered a new digital scale for my kitchen and brought out the measuring devices. I did all this in the beginning but slipped away. My current scale is mechanical and I have to weigh things three times and then average -- cause it's always differnt. lol!

Thanks to all of you for the great welcome you've given me. It makes me want to get started, just to keep hearing from you. Now that the holidays are over, I'm ready to put my heart and soul into getting healthier and feeling better about myself.
