Howdy doody Miss Marti, it's always GREAT hearing from you. We decided not to do the garden at the farm this year, but I have expanded my garden at my home and have cucumbers, tomato's and peppers, and they all are doing very well.
Dad turned 89 this year and he isn't as active, but that guy IS still riding his bike when it's not too hot out, and his garden at his home is bigger than mine, he's a pretty amazing dude I must say.

That wouldn't be me in the SUV, I still have my convertible. I know dad has been on the bike this week, it would be nice if this kind of weather would hold up through spring, but alas it's still a ways before winter is out.

Yes, preparations are going good in the garden. We only have onions in the ground right now, the rest, Dad and I will start planting after Derby.

Speaking of Dad, yes he is still riding his bike, and today is his 88th birthday. Gosh it will be a sad day if he has to put his bike up, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I got a puppy new years day and she (Kali) has been a GREAT workout buddy. She and I have taken many walks around the farm this past winter and spring and she LOVES it. She's getting so big I'm thinking about running her in the Derby next year emoticon .

Once again it was emoticon to hear from you again. Hope your spring is full of sunshine and smiles. emoticon
