    I'm 74 now and I recently joined a Stanford University Program called Steps For Change Program for Seniors, where I live. This program will meet regularly over the next two years. I had a physical evaluation six weeks ago where the person put me through some tests and sent me home with a monitor to wear for a week and to mail back to a lab. At the end of the 1.5 hour, he told me according to their charts I was 15 pounds overweight. I was astounded. The classes will start January 9th and will meet every Tuesday for one hour, for the next four months. It will be interesting. Meanwhile I will keep walking 3-4 miles a week and cleaning apts for seniors 2-4 times a month, working in the Rose Garden, etc. Martchantilly

    I noticed u left a little message on one of my Secrets of Success things. Sorry I didn't get back to u sooner! It was about doing stretches in bed in the winter, before u get up, and u had asked me what hip stretches I do. There are a few u can do. I can only do a couple right now, because my hip feels a little out of place. Bending that leg, and holding it up at a right angle can help to get the joint back in the right place. So I've been focusing on that one lately.
