Shuffling my way to 13.1 miles...

I started running (SLOWLY) in August of 2007 and am loving it! I'm happy to join this community -- it's so motivating to hear from everyone and read about their trials, tribulations and successes!

I'm still under my WW goal weight but have slowly gained 8 pounds over the past few months which need to be evicted.

My Goals:
-- Be consistent with my fitness effort

-- Start strength training again

-- Vary my cardio workouts rather than just running (incorporate yoga, water aerobics, etc.)

-- Focus on healthy food choices

My Program:
I'm currently training for a half marathon at the end of May, then will take a brief break and work on building up my weekly base miles. Then I'll ramp up again for the Nike Women's Half Marathon in October. I'm so excited about that one!
