Springing Forward

Spring is a time of renewal. A time of nature's rebirth. Just as the nature rebounds from Winter, I can rebound from my old thought processes, the fears and the bad habits that have held me back. I can throw off the ravages of time and awaken my true beauty within. Now it's my time to shine, to nourish myself, to replace old thought patterns with new ones, and old habits with new habits. emoticon I accept your mini challenge to stay within my calorie range today. Friday night is a traditional go-out-to-eat night so I will have to plan carefully.

I received an unexpected invitation to go out of town and watch my niece play soccer. I stuck to my eating plan until we went through a fast food drive thru on the way home. I ate a medium size fry. Not too bad considering it was my only snack for the night. I better choice would have been the granola bar that I had packed.
