Springing Forward

Spring is a time of renewal. A time of nature's rebirth. Just as the nature rebounds from Winter, I can rebound from my old thought processes, the fears and the bad habits that have held me back. I can throw off the ravages of time and awaken my true beauty within. Now it's my time to shine, to nourish myself, to replace old thought patterns with new ones, and old habits with new habits. It's time to loosen the bonds that have held me back, and to spring forward with the new bonds that will allow me to bloom into my Divine Self.

For TOO LONG I have allowed the past to Affect me!
For TOO LONG I haven taken personally what others have said
about me.
For TOO LONG I have stood on the sidelines watching others
shine!
For TOO MANY nights I have gone to bed worrying about what
what may be.
For TOO LONG I have held a fear in my heart.
For TOO LONG I have settled for second best!!!

NOW is the time to awaken!
NOW is the time to shine!
NOW is the time to ACCEPT that I am DIVINE!!!

~Lee-Anne Peters~

I changed the you to I in this.

emoticon Well, behind kicking is good exercise! Can you get your foot this high?

I received an unexpected invitation to go out of town and watch my niece play soccer. I stuck to my eating plan until we went through a fast food drive thru on the way home. I ate a medium size fry. Not too bad considering it was my only snack for the night. I better choice would have been the granola bar that I had packed.

I'm trying new recipes this week. Loading up on the freggies. I tracked my meals yesterday and was within my calorie range. Today, I even tracked before I ate. Drinking my water and dancing!

You can just forget it. I don't want to be your buddy any more.

Hi Marlene! Here are my new goals:

Eat between 1,500 - 1,800 calories a day.
Slowly work healthier foods into my day.
Exercise 15 minutes a day.
Make 2 days a week Restaurant-Free.

emoticon That's my plan and I'm sticking to it.

How are you doing?
