In Maintenance, Baby!!!
I joined SparkPeople in September 2009. In one year, I lost over 40 pounds by eating less and moving more. I tracked all of my food using the Food Tracker on SparkPeople and I recorded all of my exercise using the Fitness Tracker. I started running shortly after I started losing weight and could barely run one mile. Within a year, I was able to run my first half marathon and ran the entire thing! Now that I'm in maintenance, I'm trying to find a balance between recording everything and ...

Now that I'm in maintenance, I'm trying to find a balance between recording everything and having too many free-for-all days. If I need to, I'll be returning to the site and begin recording my food and exercise again. I'm hoping I can maintain my low-120's on my own! :o)

My Goals:
Maintain my 40+ pound weight loss and continue running and doing strength training.
My Program:
I'm wanting to stay around 1600-1800 calories on most days. I'm running 3 miles twice a week and 6.5+ miles once a week. I'm wanting to strenth train twice a week using free weights, a variety of pilates moves and yoga poses, and my many DVD's.
Personal Information:
I live in Lansing, MI and am a high school English teacher. Some of my hobbies are reading, watching old movies (love Audrey Hepburn!), and spending time with my family.
