I am back after a very long break from spark (to have a baby!). I am now 7 weeks post c-section (as of 12/2/13) and just started to work out and track my food again. Having this last (and final!) baby has really wreaked havoc on my body, my blood pressure went up at week 28 of my pregnancy and I was put on bed rest, the baby had to deliver early and she was put in the NICU, after the birth instead of the Gestation Hypertension resolving (as promised), it only became worse which landed me in the hospital several times due to the risk of having a stroke. I am now on several medications to control the BP (I was on no prescription meds prior to the pregnancy and I HATE that I need them now) and am hopeful that time, weight loss and exercise can get my body back on track.

My Goals:
I really want to feel great, have more energy- go shopping anywhere (and everywhere!!). I want to be a more active mom for my 2 girls and I want to get my health back in control so I can truly be there for my children.



My Program:
Because it is December and I am not willing to forgo all holiday fun, I am choosing to stick to the higher end of my calorie allowance as well as giving myself one day a week to go up to 2500 calories. I am also doing 30 minutes on the elliptical 4 days a week until my c-section is no longer in pain.

On January 1, 2014 I will take a month break from sugar to stop the cravings and go down to 1500 calories a day.

I am a stay at home mom of two wonderful little girls (a newborn and a 4 year old). I am an avid foodie and love to cook.
