I'm 57 and have finally decided it's time to revisit life again. I was forced into early retirement due to a couple of health issues 5 yr. this June. I was a cross country truck driver. I'm 57 and have finally decided it's time to revisit life again. I was forced into early retirement due to a couple of health issues 5 yr. this June. I was a cross country truck driver. Gained alot of weight sitting on my backside for over 28 yr. What was suppose to take about a year to recover turned into almost 2 yr. The next 3 yr. was simply woe is me attitute. Still have some problems. Sure was easy to become fat and lazy. Long story short I've decided to wake up and smell the roses once again. I'm the proud farther of a son. He too is over weight. Both sides of family are big. Have three grand kids that probally feel that the only time I care is birthdays and Xmas. All that is going to change. Being healthy will give me the chance to go fishing,camping,etc. with them. Can't forget about tea parties with my grand daughter. I love old cars. It will be nice to go to the big car shows again. Still have other health issues thatwill limitl my activities some, but won't stop me from tring.
