Hi Mari, please don't apologize for PA. In VA we do road construction year-round, sometimes for years at a time! When I moved to the town where I live in 2002, there were orange barrels on a local highway mapping out lane rerouting due to construction. The locals told me they'd been there for years. Well, they're gone now. They finally finished the project in 2014! That's the honest truth - no exaggeration! So if you have to put up with construction for a few months over the summer, that's actually a good thing!
Hi Mari - I think you get a pass on the windows this year, given your current situation. My problem is that I've been giving myself a pass for the last couple of years.
I enjoyed the movie, but not as much as the first one, of course. I saw that one on opening night, too. Even stood in a long line to get it. Back in the day, that version was pretty cutting edge in terms of special effects, and I thought that the cast had great chemistry, too. This one was fast-paced and exciting to watch, but I don't think this one will have the "staying power" of the original. Still it was fun and I'm glad I went. I'm a sucker for special effect films. :-)
Glad to hear it's cooled down up there. No relief for us for a while. But I'm not complaining - it is almost summer, after all.
Thanks Mari! It's true - I am starting to feel better, especially about my B.S. more so even than the weight! But I know I need to lose much more to really pull my numbers down where they need to be!
I hope you can get out of that stupid boot soon! That just has to be so annoying! Hope you have a great weekend (do you still think of it that way once you retire?) I'm afraid I won't find out for a very long time :(
Hey Mari! I'm sorry to hear that your foot still doesn't seem quite right. I have my fingers crossed for you that another week in the boot will set things right.
My project wasn't nearly as large in reality as it had grown to be in my imagination. I'm glad I finally just bit the bullet and got it done. Now I've gotten inspired and started tackling window washing today, plus a bunch of other outdoor spring cleaning type stuff (hey, it's still spring for another 10 days or so!). Got the windows on one level done, but still 2 more levels to go.
It was hot here today, too. We're supposed to have highs close to 90 for the next 5 days or so. Not my favorite kind of weather.
Take care of that foot and give it plenty of rest. Here's hoping you'll be bootless very soon.
