One of my favorite views as I'm walking

Heading out for a recent walk at a local park 6 times around the track = 1 mile!

Hi! I'm Marina, and I'm happy to walk!

Thanks for the positive comments on my vision collage, Marina. I'm not sure where I'm going to put it yet, but I know I need to put it somewhere I will see it. I think it is too big for the fridge, but maybe in the kitchen would work.

I know you are a freelance writer, and I am just wondering if you have heard of NaNoWriMo (National November Writing Month). It just started at the beginning of the month, and my daughter is doing it. There is a website for it (I believe it ends in ".com".) Anyway, the goal is to write a 50,000 novel in a mont, and there is a lot of support on the website. It is a huge international thing. My daughter went to a "write in" at a nearby library and spent 4 hours with other NaNoWriMo people. She came back so excited! I think I would like to do it next year, but this year I am just trying to focus on the weight loss.

Hi, Marina! Thank you so much for the flowers...that was really sweet of you! My daughter is 15 now (16 next week), so I guess it really hit home with me Kami. My niece was diagnosed with Hershsprung's Disease when she was just 9 months old. She was one of only 5% of people who are born with such a severe case of this genetic disease. Her whole large intestine wasn't working, and she was in absolute agony because her bowels were completely blocked. God led them to the right doctor, who diagnosed the problem and immediately got her into surgery. I know the shock my brother and his wife went through, as their baby daughter needed 3 surgeries to fix the problem. Our loving Father gave them the strength to face each surgery and recovery process. My beautiful niece just turned 2 years old and is the happiest little girl you have ever seen. God is good. He will help you and Kami get through this. Praying for healing for your beautiful daughter.

p.s. I just noticed you follow Celebrate Recovery. I have just started!
