We have been so busy here with all kinds of things. Had new flooring put in our house and that covered two weeks of our house being a big mess but they are finished now. We've also had the usual doctor appts for R, concerning his CIDP.
Lots of time spent with the pets, esp since we've adopted a 14 year old blind, deaf, bad hipped white German Shepherd. We are giving him last days full of attention, loving, food, water, companionship and we started this in Oct and being with us seems to have added more time to his life.
We've had two feral barn cats and we have started the process of trapping each of them, taking them to the vet to be fixed, get shots and any other care they need, and then being released back into our barn. Within 12 hours we caught one cat and it's at the vet now and we've started the process of trapping the other cat. If we didn't have 5 very old cats in our house, we'd bring them into our homes for the rest of their lives (even if they never got too chummy with us) but we can't risk that with our eldery house cats.
So much has been going on for so long, that it's been a struggle with me eating and exercising. Usually my exercising holds up under almost anything but I couldn't go to the gym with the workers here and all my home exercise equipment was unreachable during the flooring job. Heck, our kitchen appliances were usable during that time too so my eating really suffered.
But we can get back on track now and would have had our first day back at the gym, today, except we had caught on of the cats and took him to the vet instead.
I'd been thinking about you and had been meaning to write you sooner. :-) 2 days ago
