I am not doing well at this point in my life. My DH is in the final stages of ALS (Lou Gherigs disease) right now. He's been at home on hospics care for the past 5 weeks. Two months before that he was in the hospital in ICU. The doctor is giving him less then a month to live.
In December we lost our Corgi, Bullet, to cancer. We'd had him for 15 years, and believe that he was 2 when we got him. Aside from me, Bullet was DH's best friend. Bullet followed DH around all over the house behind DH's power chair.
Back in May, I lost my Rat Terrier (my profile pic), Teeny. She had kidney problems and had just turned 9 years old. I feel cheated out of my babies life, as Ratties average life span is 15 to 18 years. But we gave her a wonder & very much loved life.
I hope that you and your family and all your fur-babies are all doing very well and are happy.
Thanks Marilyn, l really enjoyed it. The weather's not been too bad again today, I've had Joseph all day while Leah took the older ones to see a film and have a McDonald's with their friends...had a good long walk with the pram, really enjoyed that too! 976 days ago
Hi Marilyn, I keep meaning to email you but things have been a bit different what with one thing and another. On top of the bronchitis and hospital visits I now begin light therapy again tomorrow, three times a week for the next three months or so. It's a bit of a drive, around an hour but it'll be worth it.
I attended my Slimmers World class this morning and I've lost another 9 and a half pounds, that's 4 stones exactly as I put a bit back on over Christmas so I'm really pleased and in the right frame of mind for losing just now.
Hope everything's going well with you 1011 days ago
