hi everyone. my name is marie i'm 23 years old. i live in western massachusetts but i'm originally from boston. i'm a big boston sports fan, love being with friends, and being active.

what's bothered me the most about my weight is that i'm a constant yo-yoer. my lowest weight was back in the 10th grade (8 years ago) at 120 pounds. my heaviest was my freshman year in college, where i topped out at about 155 pounds. i'm only five feet tall, so the weight losses and gains show pretty quickly.

now that i'm out of school and can finally maintain some sort of gym schedule, i'm ready to become a newer, healthier me. i've joined a gym and as of october 22, 2008 lost 15 pounds from my recent 'heaviest' weight. i still have about 5-8 lbs to go to reach my goal. wish me luck :)

GOALS & REWARDS

133 lbs - mani & pedi: achieved on 10/01/08

130 lbs - new bag:
achieved on 10/22/08

125 lbs - hair cut/color
120 lbs - new designer jean




My Program:
I plan on eating 1200-1500 calories a day. i pack healthy 100-calorie snacks that i eat between breakfast & lunch, an hour before the gym, and after dinner. i try to limit myself to only having pasta, bread or rice once a day.

cardio: at least 4x a week for at least 40 minutes

strength training: at least 3x a week

i've joined a gym and love my step aerobics & zumba classes.

Other Information:

i'm trying to find a balance so that i can enjoy these things occasionally while staying fit and healthy

Hello.. Thx for posting in my blog. I'm still working on my last 5 pounds don't know why I did so good on the 65 I lost these last 5 are still clinging on my lol. Not a quiter so I'm still working on it. Thx alot for your comment. Your doing real good on your wt. loss as well keep up the good work ( We can do this!) Take care.
