Hi. You're welcome about commenting on your blog. So glad the rest of the week went well. I read your bio and I am sorry to hear about your diabetes. It is a horrible disease as I lost my grandfather to it. He had Type 1 and was giving himself insulin shots 4 times a day. Sadly, many people do not understand that it is really a killer and people need to get it under control. My "new" hubby had Type 2, but lost over 100 pounds so he is no longer on diabetic medicine! (Thank goodness!) I hope the results of your Sparks journey finds you nothing but peace and a healthy body andsoul!
HI!! I'm chas1949....real name Carol, but go by chas even at home. I wanted to welcome you to Walking, Walking, Walking. I started the team because I needed somewhere to monitor my blood sugar in an organized manner. I put two "other" goals that are really helpful to me...morning and night BS numbers. I can see a whole week at a time and go back in time to see the other weeks. I hope you find it helpful.
This team is made up of people who are using walking as part of their diabetes healthy plan.
Please feel free to join in the games, post whenever you want, and start threads if there is something you want to share or track...if it becomes popular, I can make it a "sticky" topic.
At the moment I am not a good example to follow..I am having issues that have gottne in the way of my walking. However, I NEVER give up.
