ready for a healthy life

I have struggled with my weight all my life though things turned for the worse after pregnancies at 35 and 38, since then its been all down hill. i lose 30 pounds and gain back 40, repeatedly.
During the last year my parents moved near by and are both handicapped and I lost my job of 26 years. Needless to say both events have furthered my weight gain contributed to my chronic depression.

Stick to it Marianne!! We are going to do it!! I'm glad we have each other. Seems like we are going through the same things at the same time. One day at a time! We both need to watch those calories and get moving. Just make the effort. There's no quitting!

"If I had to select one quality, one personal characteristic that I regard as being most highly correlated with success, whatever the field, I would pick the trait of persistence. Determination.
The will to endure to the end, to get knocked down seventy times and get up off the floor saying. "Here comes number seventy-one!"

Cherry Coke is helping, but I'm gonna take some magnesium citrate to help me feel a lot better. This stuff is like sour alka-seltzer on speed... It helps get the bubble out, but does other stuff to your tummy too.....

I have a quick and easy way to DIY Lattes... I buy instant coffee, milk/soy/almond milk, ice and sweetner (if you want).

The DIY Latte recipe is:
8 to 10 oz. Milk/Soy/almond milk (Your choice)
2 tsp to 1 tbsp of instant coffee (start little and build your way up to the tbsp)
1 sweetner pack or 1 tsp of sugar (more if the coffee is strong or bitter tasting) [Omit if you use soy/almond milk.]
Play around with the instant coffee and milk/soy/almond milk until it's tasty for you.
Stir, mix or shake together and pour over ice.

Ta-Da DIY Latte!

Pocketbook Party is a first for me. We do tupperware, mary kay, stampin' up!, creative memories, premier design, pampered chef, scentsy, and etc... My fave is Stampin' Up! I love crafting type of stuff though...

I have Fri - Interpreting event for my friend and day with Miguel (my buddy); Sat - I have a wedding, the curandra, a yard sale, and start on the auction cards for the reunion; Sun - I have a baby shower and a get together with my friends..... I don't get any rest until the 25th of May... I think, I might be spreading myself a little thin again...

Hugs Chica!!! I hope your weekend is fun and relaxing. I also hope you have fun though at the Pocketbook Party!

Thanks so much for the continued support, encouragement and well wishes. I hope this all goes away quickly as it started. (Smiles)

I'm glad I help inspire you to do things in your own life. Sometimes, we just need a thought or idea to get us moving and doing things we never dreamed of before.

Soon enough we will get our nails done together... Take care my friend. Hugs back!
