Healthy After 40

I had a baby in December 2009, and after struggling for two years, I finally lost all the "baby" fat thanks to SP. Prior to that victory, I rejoined in June 2012 with a lot of enthusiasm and commitment. I am still incorporating healthy eating practices, without becoming a dieting lunatic. My ultimate goals are to get into a healthy weight range and continue to achieve healthy eating and exercise goals.

My Goals:
My goal is to maintain this program for the long term.

I also need to motivate myself on a daily basis now. The program was really easy for the first nine months, but I am struggling to maintain it.

My Program:
*My goal is to eat 1400 calories a day. Usually, I dip to 1200 or 1300 and that doesn't do squat to help me lose more weight.

*I work out five to six times a week, including at least 45 to 60 minutes of cardio.

*I also strength train three times a week with a personal trainer.

Personal Information:
I am happily married and have a lovely toddler for a son.


Other Information:
I recently started eating vegetarian again; the transition was easy.

don't fret...you can be controlling and not be one.
Are you eat a lot of different foods?
Some foods can cause lots lots of bloat and expand um...girth without weight...and some foods and help shrink waistline without the weightloss.
Gaining in the waist and not in weight isn't about eating fat grams
I have the belly fat book and haven't really had the girth since well at least not the pouchie belly

I gave myself a new pair of virtual pants, since I can't afford any in real life. I am having a serious girth emergency! ARGH! O.K., now that it's out of my system, I am going to wear dresses for a while, ideally not a long while.

It is my Friday....I'll catch up with you on Saturday...ok? Granddaughter tomorrow during the day and dancing at night! Fishing Friday, hopefully and maybe dancing again (depends on the band and the bf...lol)

Passed the accreditation visit with flying colors, and Mother's Day Breakfast down. Whoo hoo! Time to chill now since I'm off the rest of the week. Visitors coming tomorrow, too, but hopefully I can stick to my workouts and eat well. Do you work through the summer, or do you get summer break?
